Want to Practice Taking College Courses Now?

March 26th, 2007 by Paul

If you want a taste of what it is to take a college course please check out this site:

http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html

It’s Massachusett’s Institute of Technology’s (MIT) open coursware website. They have courses ranging from anthropology, biology, economics, computer science, and a whole lot more. It also includes courses from MIT’s business school, the Sloan School of management.

Here’s what they promise:

  • Is a publication of MIT course materials
  • Does not require any registration
  • Is not a degree-granting or certificate-granting activity
  • Does not provide access to MIT faculty

If you have a curiousity what it feels like to be in a college lecture this is the site to go to. Best of all it’s all free! Or rather “open.”

To actually receive a degree and talk to the faculty guess- you need to enroll at MIT.
