The Department of International Exchange went to Ewha Girl’s Foreign Language High School for their school seminars. There was about 100 or so people there most of them being parents…
I want to stress that college admission officers want to talk to STUDENTS and not as much parents. They like to see proactive students willing to take the risks necessary to talk to them. I understand most of you had mid-term exams to prepare for, but it may have been good to go at least to make contact with these people. It leaves a far more positive mark on the admission officers when you go and visit them personally. There is also a small chance that you can leave a good impression on them, which will benefit you in the future.
Here are some candid notes I took while their presentation.
