21 Inspirational Quotes on Education

April 24th, 2007 by Paul

I’ve become a voracious reader for the last couple of years. I strongly recommend students reading books, articles, newspapers, and blogs.

I’m subscribed to several RSS Feeds and I encourage you to subscribe to ones you are interested. RSS is like getting the internet emailed to you. I’ll do another post on this subject another time.

One feed that I have deals with personal development they had a list of quotes about education.

Here are a few of my favorite:

It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.
Epictetus

You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.
Clay P. Bedford

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.
Mark Twain

The difference between school and life? In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you’re given a test that teaches you a lesson.
Tom Bodett
