Amazing Koreans: Jim Yong Kim – 17th President at Dartmouth

I was thinking the other day that there isn’t enough good “Korean” role models. I don’t want students to play the race card, thus I created another category for you guys. Never use the race card as an excuse. You know better than that.

This article is about the new Korean president at Dartmouth University, Jim Yong Kim.

Here’s a brief blurb from the website:

Jim Yong Kim, M.D., Ph.D., Chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, has been elected the 17th President of Dartmouth by the College’s Board of Trustees. Ed Haldeman, Chair of Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees, announced the appointment today at a meeting of students, faculty and staff.
