I’ve spoken to many people when I tell them I’m a copywriter they go “oh so you’re into Law.”
NOPE.
Here’s what a copywriter does. Full stop.
Create winning promotions.
If you’re not hip to creating winning promotions yourself, then you desperately need a copywriter.
OR
…get the blessings of a copywriter (a good one) before you even think of moving ahead with a business/product promotion.
As a matter of fact, I’m going to be super nice here and list for you 3 types of people who MUST have a copywriter on their team…
1 – Business owners:
If you have a business, that means you exchange your goods and services with people with money.
If you’re a business owner, a copywriter will definitely be of great use to you, why? simply because he will impart his conversion skills for your business use.
Let’s say your business is getting 50 customers per 1000 fliers/ magazine ad / newspaper ad / email blast.
Get a good copywriter onboard and he’ll shotgun that number “50” and turn it almost magically into 60, 70 or even 100.
Good copywriters can do that.
2 – Product owners:
Selling ANY type of product online or offline?
Enlist the help of a pro copywriter to blast your conversion rates off the hinges.
Any product’s message can be improved.
Here check this out, a few years ago it was considered awesome to get a 12% conversion rate on a landing page…. Now, there’s a handful of websites that’s doing THREE TIMES more than that.
The reason why they could do this is because they’ve got good copy.
High conversion on a landing page followed by high conversion on a product’s main salesletter EQUALS head splitting high cash flow.
Now here’s the last type of person that needs a copywriter…
3 – Any one selling ANYTHING!
Baseball bats, houses, air planes, lawn mowers, denver roofing shingle, plumbing, handphones, computer repair shops, luxury brand cars, private real estate, ANY ONE selling ANYTHING could use the help of a copywriter.
The selling process is a delicate one, and if it’s in PRINT, the copywriter’s expertise, it becomes even more delicate.
A wrong word here and wrong word there, BOOM, money gone!
A small crack in the tiles and you’re a gone-er…
Pick your copywriter wisely too, I’ll share with you what to look out for when choosing the right type of copywriter and why you should watch out even for copywriters who say they’ve got air-bus full of testimonials.
Stay tuned.
Sincerely,
Idris Arkette
